Indoor House Plants

House plants are a great starting point for home gardeners, especially those who are new to the gardening world. If you can keep your house plant alive and enjoy the work that comes along with it, then you are heading in the right direction. Your next step is to try your hand at some herbs, fruits, or vegetables.

House plants have many benefits! Not only do they add life and beauty to your home, but the health benefits are endless.

Besides improving your air quality, house plants are known to boost your well-being, humidify the air, relieve stress, improve sleep, and give you more energy . . . just to name a few.

Plants release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide which purifies the surrounding air. It’s been proven that plants are known to also sharpen focus, reduce stress, and bring peace of mind. They provide a calm and an energy that is hard to describe. Strategically placed plants can also help reduce noise, as well as help a room look cleaner and more polished.

You can purchase house plants at your local nurseries or online at Bloomscape.
